Saturday, September 12:
The Ship Mayflower Gala at the Pilgrim Monument and Provincetown Museum.  A magical evening under the tent on the Museum grounds will feature food, spirits and historical reenactments.  It is going to be a very special and fun black tie event - a great kick-off to Congress Week. 
 
Sunday, September 13:
Morning: Ferries leave from Plymouth and Boston for Provincetown to arrive by 11:00 am. 
Late Morning: Mayflower Compact Re-enactment Ceremony in Provincetown Harbor at noon featuring the Ship Mayflower.  Come be part of this moment in history.  Ferries will surround the Ship Mayflower for Descendants to view this ceremony.  For those who prefer to remain landside, the ceremony may be viewed on the grounds of the Pilgrim Monument and Provincetown Museum.  The event will include a memorial service and wreath laying in the harbor.  It will be a day for the record books, a memory-making opportunity for members and their families.
Afternoon: Mayflower Descendant Luncheon and program at the Provincetown Museum.
Evening:  Ferries will return to Plymouth and Boston from Provincetown.

Monday, September 14:
Early morning: 5:30 am - Sunrise Toast and Bon Voyage to the Ship Mayflower at the Provincetown Museum.
 
Note: For Boston event: Ferries available from Provincetown: Buses available from Plymouth for Boston.
The Official Statehouse Salute to the 400th Anniversary
4:00 pm  Boston Pilgrim Progress -
GSMD Members and guests are invited to participate in a Pilgrim Progress through the Boston Public Garden and Boston Common and up Beacon Hill to the Massachuestts State House steps.  Participants will meet at the Park Plaza Hotel, where special changing rooms have been reserved, no later than 3:00 pm to allow time to change into your Pilgrim attire.  This will be a historic Pilgrim Progress as it is the first of its kind to ever happen in Boston. (Note: Participants must be in Pilgrim attire and must be able to walk at least one mile, including up Beacon Hill.)
This is a limited capacity event. Not wheelchair accessible. 
5:00 - 7:00 Governor's Reception and Private Viewing of the Bradford Journal
Immediately following a ceremony on the steps of the Massachusetts State House, GSMD members and guests and NEHGs members and guests will be invited into the Hall of Flags for a private and exclusive viewing of the original journal of William Bradford and a cocktail reception.  State House security practices will be in place. 
This is a limited capacity event.  Wheelchair accessible.
Evening: Ferries will return to Provincetown and buses will return to Plymouth.

Dead of the Night Ghost Walking Lantern Tours (Limited capacity) Not wheelchair accessible.
Tours begin at 7:15 p.m., 7:30 p.m., and 7:45 p.m. and last approximately an hour and a half. Meet in the Hotel 1620 Front Lobby.
 
Tuesday, September 15:
Mayflower Congress officially begins and registration opens at Hotel 1620, Plymouth MA. 
        From 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Congress attendees can visit Hotel 1620 for:
  • Registration and Credentials Pick-up
  • Insignia and GSMD Store Sales
  • Exhibitors Showcase
  • Member Society Tables
  • Family Society Tables
All day: Executive Committee Meeting at the Hotel 1620.
Early Evening: General Board of Assistants Meeting at the National Pilgrim Memorial Meetinghouse.
TOURS:
Cranberry Bog Tour (8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.)
Cape Cod Canal Cruise, includes lunch: turkey wrap with cranberry sauce or cranberry walnut chicken salad wrap and bottled water. Sorry, no lunch substitutes. Coach bus. Not wheelchair accessible.
Pilgrim Belle Cruise (All aboard: 10:30 a.m., Cruise: 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.) (Limited Capacity) Limited wheelchair access seating on first deck only..
Includes lunch: baguette sandwich, fruit, brownie, chips, and bottled water. Sorry, no lunch substitutes. Cruise duration 11:00 am - 1:00 pm.  Cruise departs from the dock at the end of the pier on Water Street.
Walking Tours of Plymouth by Jenney Museum (Varied Times) 3 tours available and begin at the Jenney Museum, 48 Summer Street. 1620 - 2020 Discover Plymouth's History - this is a faith-based tour. Not wheelchair accessible.
 
Wednesday, September 16:
From 8:00 a.m. – noon., Congress attendees can visit Hotel 1620 for:

Early morning:  Fort Church Service at Plimoth Plantation will begin promptly at 8:00 a.m. A private ceremony for GSMD only.  (Limited Capacity)
10:00 am Massachusetts Mayflower Society’s Naturalization Ceremony at Memorial Hall in Plymouth.  An invitation-only event. 
1:oo pm Pilgrim Progress: Will begin at the Mayflower Society House to Cole’s Hill, to the Town Square. Pilgrim attire is required for Pilgrim Progress. Members in street clothes may follow at the end of the Progress.
Immediately following the Pilgrim Progress: Opening Ceremonies will be held in various locations including the National Pilgrim Memorial Meetinghouse and the Church of the Pilgrimage.  Opening ceremonies will include an extended program for the recognition of the deed transfer with the First Parish Church, recognition of special gifts and the recognition of the 400th anniversary of the departure of the Ship Mayflower from Plymouth UK.  Both locations are Wheelchair accessible.  (Limited Capacity).
Immediately following the Opening Ceremonies:  Mayflower Garden Reception: Reception in the Colonial Revival Gardens of the Mayflower Society House featuring the dedication of the NEW William Bradford Monument.  Reservations are required.

7:30 – 8:30 am: Congress attendees can pick up credentials in the Hotel 1620 lobby.
Governance Day 1 - First Business Session of General Congress will convene at 9:00 a.m. at NEW LOCATION Plymouth Memorial Hall, 83 Court Street.
The hall is air-conditioned and wheelchair accessible with assigned seating for delegates.  Reservations are required for admittance due to security. 
 
TOURS:
Lexington - Concord and the Orchard House, (8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.)
Includes boxed lunch: sandwich, potato chips, cookie and bottled water. Sorry, no lunch substitutes. Coach bus. Limited capacity.  Not wheelchair accessible.
Hyannis - JFK Museum and the Cape Cod Railroad, (8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.)

Friday, September 18:
Governance Day 2 - Second Business Session of General Congress will convene at 9:00 a.m. at NEW LOCATION Plymouth Memorial Hall, 83 Court Street.
The hall is air-conditioned and wheelchair accessible with assigned seating for delegates.
Election of new officers will be held for the General Society of Mayflower Descendants for the 2020-2023 administration.
7:00 - 10:00 pm - 400th Anniversary Gala  at Plymouth Memorial Hall, 83 Court Street, Plymouth, Massachusetts. Memorial Hall will be transformed with elegant lights, draping and décor for this black tie event.  A formal receiving line of officers will welcome you! Enjoy hors d’oeuvres, fine food stations, libations, desserts, dancing and  and, indeed, a night to remember for a lifetime! (Cash bar.)

Saturday, September 19:
9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m., Executive Committee Meeting for NEW Executive Committee Officers at the Hotel 1620.
Plymouth 400’s Embarkation Festival and Family Society Events, Plymouth Waterfront. A cultural and arts celebration honoring the traditions, cuisines and music, of the Pilgrim settlers and the Wampanoag people.
The 1620 Club Thank You Event and Dinner will be held on Saturday for 1620 Club members and their guests.
